In September, BRIO is joining thousands of restaurants nationwide to support Share Our Strength’s No Kid Hungry® campaign with several special promotions. The No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in the U.S. by ensuring all children get the healthy food they need, every day. One in five children in the U.S. struggle with hunger. The money raised benefits the No Kid Hungry campaign and its work connecting kids at risk of hunger with nutritious food and teaching their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.

“Guests Donating to Make a Difference” Promotion

Again in 2015, BRIO will present its “Guests Donating to Make a Difference” promotion. From Sept. 1–27, when BRIO guests donate $5 or more to the No Kid Hungry campaign, they will receive $5 off their next visit of $15 or more, valid thru Oct. 31, 2015. It’s easy to donate, as guests will be able to add their donation to their bill upon checkout.

“What Family Meal Time Means to Me” Coloring Contest for Kids

From Sept. 1–20, all children aged 12 and younger dining at BRIO will receive a coloring sheet with their Kid’s Menu. Kids can use their imaginations to create artwork about “What Family Meal Time Means to Me,” and turn it in at the restaurant or mail it to BBRG. Four winners will be selected and their drawings, along with the No Kid Hungry logo, will be published on the upcoming fourth quarter Kid’s Menus. Also on the menus, BRIO will promote that BBRG provided meals with the kids’ support. Each winner will also receive a kids’ pizza/pasta party for 12. Winners will be announced Oct. 15. Entries must be submitted by Sept. 20. Open to children 12 years old and younger.
